OSAKA SPRINGBOARD is a program supporting overseas startups that are considering expanding their businesses in Osaka and the Kansai region. For this event, introducing rapidly growing startups from Singapore, where food tech & sustainable business startups are on the rise! A pitch and business matching event will be held to support startups with innovative environmentally friendly products and services to enter the Osaka/Kansai marketplace!

This program is aimed at Japanese businesses who are looking to co-create and seize new business opportunities with overseas startups, as well as investment organizations (venture capital or corporate venture capital) who are looking for investment opportunities.

UMAMI Bioworks is a Singapore-headquartered company pioneering a standardized, modular, and automated production platform for cultivating 'not caught' seafood.
We are bringing together novel stem cell biology, machine learning, and automation to create the operating system for cultivated seafood production, empowering traditional seafood suppliers to produce a stable, resilient, local supply of culturally relevant seafood products free from mercury, antibiotics, microplastics, and ocean pollutants.
