Robin has managed sustainable development projects in Japan and globally for 13+ years, running workshops and training programs for thousands. He also advises and mentors mission-driven organisations and is a guest lecturer at several universities. Robin’s work has been featured on CNN, NHK and Netflix.

As a specialist in business incubation, Alex focuses on various activities to connect the innovation ecosystems in Japan and overseas. He has been involved in innovation-related initiatives in collaboration with embassies and startup support organizations in Canada, Germany, France, Estonia, and many other countries. He is a J-Startup nomination committee member, Tokyo Metropolitan Government Startup Fellow, Start2 Group Japan representative and others.

Founded mui Lab in 2017 as an in-house venture, and became independent through MBO in 2019. First in the world to mass produce Calm UI, the IoT interface of this wooden product, with mui board. Winner of the CES 2019(mui board Gen1), 2022(mui platform), 2024(mui board Gen2). Winner of the Best of CES in 2020. winner of the Archiproducts design award in Italy in 2021.
Marisa Watanabe

Marisa Watanabe is born and raised in Hong Kong and California. She went to university in Switzerland started her career in Tokyo. She has worked in hospitality, relocation and government affairs. She has also scaled and globalized a startup. After setting up the Consulate of Switzerland, she is now bridging industry research for the University of New South Wales.
