The Ritsumeikan Trust is a private comprehensive school system that includes Ritsumeikan University, Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU), four affiliated high schools and junior high schools, and one affiliated elementary school. To visualize and expand its efforts in fostering talent and mindsets that contribute to solving social issues, Ritsumeikan has launched the Ritsumeikan Impact-Makers Inter X Platform, aimed at enhancing collaboration both within and outside the institution.

In April 2022 Kindai University launched KINCUBA, a program that supports students and researchers in starting businesses. Leveraging the university’s network of over 570,000 alumni, local manufacturing connections, and digital technologies, KINCUBA provides comprehensive support from mindset development to business creation.

In collaboration with Culture Convenience Club Co.,Ltd, we operate Startup Cafe Osaka, a base for entrepreneurial support through industry-academia collaboration.

Through industry-academia-government collaboration and both global and regional collaboration, OIT seeks to raise the next generation of entrepreneurs in Japan. They operate the open innovation hub Xport in partnership with the Osaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The University of Osaka provides pre-incubation infrastructure for the establishment of university-originated startups, a​nd also supports entrepreneurial activities using their research under their own Gap Fund.
