JEPLAN has formed a strategic alliance with the Osaka Gas to advance their proprietary PET chemical recycling technology with Osaka Gas’s energy-related solutions. The partnership aims to create a circular economy through innovative “bottle to bottle” a​nd “clothes to clothes” recycling processes, reducing both costs a​nd carbon dioxide emissions in the Kansai region a​nd beyond.

Impact

The partnership focuses on significant environmental contributions, including reducing carbon dioxide emissions and minimizing reliance on petroleum-based resources. JEPLAN's chemical recycling technology enables the continuous recycling of waste PET into high-quality PET resin, equivalent to petroleum-derived materials.
